We strive to provide the most flexible approach to your ADR needs. Accordingly, we offer three alternative fee schedules for our mediation services:
Expedited 2-hour mediation session via Zoom and/or telephone only and for simple two-party case — generally 9:00-11:00 am or 2:00-4:00 pm.
$425 per party
Half-day session in-person (lunch is not provided) or via Zoom/telephone — generally 9:00-12:30 pm or 1:30-5:00 pm.
$750 per party
Full-day mediation session in-person 9:30-5:00 pm (lunch is provided) or via Zoom.
$1,600 per party
Any additional time incurred past the initial setting will be billed at the rate of $425.00 per hour to be split equally between the parties.
Related parties, even with aligned interests, are considered as separate parties if they have separate counsel. Payment of the mediation fee is due within 10 days of the confirmation of the mediation but not later than the commencement of the mediation session.
If you have an emergency or want to mediate on a specific date or time that is not available on-line, please contact us as it may be possible to make arrangements to accommodate your need. Once a date and time are confirmed with all parties, a mediation packet will be sent to all parties.
The mediation fee shall be deemed fully earned at the commencement of the session. If the parties initially request that more than one successive mediation day be scheduled, then the full fee for all scheduled sessions is due and earned upon commencement of the first day of mediation.
Mileage and/or additional, required travel expenses will be billed at cost and are to be divided equally among the parties. In addition to the cost of travel, if it is necessary to spend additional days traveling to or from a mediation location, the mediation session will be billed as multiple sessions for the total number of days of travel and conducting the mediation.
Each party’s attorneys shall be responsible for the timely payment of all fees specified herein.
